DAL RASAM



Ingredients:
  • Cooked toor dal - 1/2 cup
  • Tomato - 1 small size
  • Tamarind - 1 tea spoon thick pulp
  • Rasum powder - 1 tea spoon
  • Water - 2 cup
  • turmeric - a pinch
  • Salt - 3/4 spoon
  • Cilantro - 2 strings
  • Hing - a pinch

Preparation:
  1. Place dal,tomato,turmeric & water in a vessel.
  2. Switch on the flame.
  3. Add tamarind pulp and leave it to boil.
  4. When it starts to boil add rasum powder & salt.
  5. Switch off the flame after is boils completely.
  6. Garnish with hing & cilantro.
